Title:
SUPERCONDUCTING ROTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06327233
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a highly reliable superconducting rotor in the thermal contraction and absorption structure of a current lead which allows relative displacement for a low temperature structure.

CONSTITUTION: A thermal contraction and absorption structure 13, wherein narrow elongated thin plates of copper are laminated in the shape of an elliptic ring and one end is connected to a current lead 11 and the other end is connected to a stud 12 coupled with a field coil 1, is provided within a coolant reservoir 2 which accommodates a field coil 1 using a superconducting coil in order to cool it to an ultra-low temperature.
