Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate a problem of sliding friction so as to eliminate troubles with a simple structure by using a superconductive bearing cooled by a cryostats in a high-vacuum device so as to magnetically support a rotary shaft made from a permanent magnet. CONSTITUTION:A superconductive bearing 1 made of a superconductor and having a bevel shape is disposed in a liquid nitrogen shroud 3 and is held at a temperature below a critical temperature of TC.deg. under liquid nitrogen LN having a temperature of 77K. A rotary bearing support section 4 is supported by a magnetic force due to a Meissner effect so as to float up by about 1mm. A drive shaft 4 coupled to the support section 2 and a base plate holder 5 float up under magnetic force. Thus, it is possible to eliminate occurrence of troubles, thereby it is possible to greatly enhance the operation rate of an expensive apparatus.
