PURPOSE: To erase data to reset a device to the initial state even at the time when data inputted with a storage medium or cash remains by providing a clear means which can not only clear contents of a data storage means but also close a supply path switching means through a switching control means.
CONSTITUTION: A user inserts a storage medium F or cash to a reading means G to receive the supply of service water or the like by the usable quantity stored in the storage medium F or the amount of money. Though data dependent upon the storage medium F or cash remains in a data storage means H, the data storage medium H can be cleared by a clear means K and a supply path switching means D can be forcibly closed. Thus, data is erased to reset the device to the initial state though data inputted with the storage medium of the prepaid card system or cash remains.
