To provide a support bearing device for a constant velocity universal joint made compact and lightweight and enabling easy installation work.
The support bearing device for the constant velocity universal joint comprises an outer member 1 formed with a row of outer rolling surface 11 on an inner periphery, an inner member 2 formed on an outer periphery with an inner rolling surface 12 opposed to the outer rolling surface 11 and provided with an insertion hole 9 for insertion of a rotary shaft 7 connected to the constant velocity universal joint, and rolling elements 3 installed for rolling between the rolling surfaces 11, 12 of the outer member 1 and the inner member 2. The outer member 1 is provided with a flange part 1b formed with an insertion hole 14 in which a bolt is inserted for attaching to a vehicle, and circular seal materials 4, 4 are respectively installed in both side circular openings 5, 5 formed between the outer member 2 and the inner member 2.
