Abstract:
To provide a tilting pad type bearing capable of surely inhibiting a rise of pad temperature due to a carry-over phenomenon with a simple construction.
The tilting pad type bearing 10 for supporting a rotary shaft 1 through a tilting pad 11A which is circumferentially divided and tiltable is provided with a bypass flow path 30 for introducing a part of lubrication oil from a high temperature region of the tilting pad 11A and letting it out.
