To provide a support roof tile in which, while strongly fixing the support roof tile to a roof structure, rain leakage from the support roof tile can be prevented effectively and furthermore, the need of inserting a wedge-like interposing material between a support protrusion on a rear side of the support roof tile and an upper surface of the roof structure as the prior arts can be eliminated.

A support roof tile comprises one or more protruding pieces protruding in a lateral direction from a body of the support roof tile in a view from the side of eaves in installing the support roof tile on the roof. In the protruding pieces, one or more insert holes are formed for inserting therethrough fixing means such as screws or nails for fixing the support roof tile body to a roof structure. A reinforcing rib formed in the approximately central portion of a lower surface of the support roof tile body has an approximately trapezoidal side face along an inclination direction of the roof.
