Abstract:

To provide: a supported catalyst which has an excellent nitrogen oxide removal efficiency at a practical exhaust gas temperature which is a range of 270 to 400°C; a method of producing the same; and a method of removing nitrogen oxides in exhaust gas utilizing the supported catalyst and reducing agent.

In a supported catalyst for reduction reaction of nitrogen oxides, active ingredients including aluminum fluoride, or a hydrate or a salt thereof, and a silver (Ag)-based compound or a hydrate thereof are supported by a support. A method of producing the supported catalyst comprises an impregnation step and a calcining step. A method of removing nitrogen oxides utilizes the supported catalyst.
