Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting structure of an air cleaner duct, which is excellent in operating performance for maintaining an air filter element.
SOLUTION: In an air cleaner which comprises the base end part of an air cleaner duct 10 connected with an inlet 9 provided on an air cleaner cap 3 while the air cleaner cap 3 is connected with an air cleaner main body 2 supported by a car body or an engine main body in such a way that it can be opened/closed, a pivot 12 is projected vertically to the moving plane of the air cleaner duct 10 followed by the opening/closing of the air cleaner cap 3 in a supporting area at an appropriate distance from the tip end of the air cleaner duct 10, and the pivot 12 is thereby fitted in so as to be engaged with the supporting hole of a grommet 14 fixed to a supporting bracket 13 provided on the car body or the engine main body.
