Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new molten metal dipping member that can uniformly and efficiently cool a molten metal refining container represented by a dipping pipe, a hood, or the like.
SOLUTION: In a molten metal dipping member with a refrigerant descent channel that is directed from an upper part to a lower part and a refrigerant rise channel that is directed from a lower part to an upper part in a space that is constituted of an inner cylinder, an outer cylinder, and a torus bottom plate, a plurality of blow-off holes for blowing off a refrigerant toward the side wall of an outer cylinder and/or an inner cylinder or toward space between the inner and the outer cylinders are provided in a vertical direction.
