Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the supporting structure of a muffler which can firmly support the muffler to a body side via a bracket without imposing load agaist an end plate.
SOLUTION: On the center of a bracket 39, the center portion of the bracket 39 is curved to form a central support 39a which locates on the outside of a muffler 31, and the distal end of the central support 39a is fastened onto the outside of the muffler 31. Both root portions of the central support 39a are folded to form grasping portions 39c so that they can grasp the outer and the inner peripheral surfaces 36a and 36b of a hemmed portion 36. Further, bracket portions 39d following the grasping portion 39c is curved so as to touch the side surface 36c of the hem portion, while distal ends 39e is outerwardly protruded beyond the hem portion.
