Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To diagnose, after the installation of a liquid level detecting device for detecting any liquid level rise to a prescribed level, whether or not disconnection has occurred in the device.SOLUTION: A liquid level detecting device 100 detects by an electric current circuit formed between power source wiring 93 and ground wiring 94, a rise in a liquid level if the voltage V1 of a node N1 drops when electrodes 81 and 82 have come into contact with the liquid surface. At the time of trouble diagnosis by the liquid level detecting device 100, an AC voltage variation is inputted to a node N1 by a transistor Q1. By monitoring whether or not the voltage variation of the node N1 is transmitted to a node N2 over an electric current route via a capacitor C1, whether or not disconnection has occurred on the electric current route is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
