Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device improved in specification accuracy of a current position.SOLUTION: An information terminal receives a radio wave transmitted from each of at least three stations and calculates reception intensity of each radio wave received. A first station transmitting a radio wave having the strongest reception intensity among the calculated reception intensities is selected and a second station and a third station are selected in order of strong reception intensity from among stations located at predetermined distance from the first station. A triangle is formed with the first station, the second station and the third station as vertices. It is determined whether or not an interior angle of the first station is an obtuse angle or larger and if it is determined that the interior angle is not an obtuse angle, a current position is specified using the first, second and third stations by a first method and if it is determined that the interior angle is an obtuse angle, a current position is specified using the first, second and third stations by a second method.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
