Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the title plate excellent in hardness, scratch resistance, weathrability, antistatic properties, etc., by forming a cured film of a specific primer compsn. and then an inorg. material layer each in a specified thickness on the surface of a plastic plate. CONSTITUTION:A cured film of a primer compsn. mainly comprising a compd. of the formula [wherein R<1> to R<4> are each 1-13C (substed.) alkyl, aryl, or alkenyl; X and Y are each a hydrolyzable group; a to d are 0-1; e is 0-4; and a+b+c is 2-4] or a hydrolyzate or condensate of the compd. is formed in a thickness of 0.1-10mum on a plastic plate (e.g. polycarbonate plate), and on the film is formed an inorg. material layer (e.g. an SiO2 layer) in a thickness of 0.25-10mum by physical vapor deposition, thereby giving the title plate.
