Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate the replacement of the surface of grinding bodies and make their grinding or polishing efficient and optimum by disposing a carrier with driving gear in a holder upwardly tiltable about a lying shaft.
CONSTITUTION: A carrier 5 with driving gear is contained in a holder 9 upwardly tiltable about crankshafts 6. The driving of the carrier 5 circularly shaped by proper gear such as a cogged belt and toothed wheel needs an electric drive 21 connected to the crankshafts 6 via a central intermediate shaft. This arrangement of the carrier 5 facilities the replacement of the surface of a grinding body 36 supported on the carrier 5.
