Abstract:

To provide a method for easily forming a conductive high corrosion resistance coating region by removing a part of a high corrosion resistance coating on the surface of a magnesium alloy member by a pulsed laser; and to provide a magnesium alloy member manufactured by this method.

The method for forming a conductive high corrosion resistance coating region (11) having predetermined conductivity includes: irradiating a predetermined region of a high corrosion resistance coating (10) formed on the surface of the magnesium alloy member (1) with a pulsed laser to remove a part of the high corrosion resistance coating (10). The magnesium alloy member is manufactured by this method.
