Title:
SURPLUS SOIL IMPROVING AGENT AND IMPROVING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08333573
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain an improving agent composed of an aqueous polymer, a salt containing alkali metal ion and a cement at specific ratios and effective for quickly modifying surplus soil to an easily handleable sandy form having high strength and suitable for the transfer, discharge and reutilization of the soil.

CONSTITUTION: This improving agent is composed of (A) 0.2-10 pts.wt. of an aqueous polymer (preferably polyacrylamide, gum guaiac, crosslinked acrylic acid salt polymer, etc.), (B) 0.2-20 pts.wt. of a salt containing alkali metal ion (e.g. sodium silicate, potassium chloride or sodium sulfate) and (C) 10-200 pts.wt. of a cement (e.g. Portland cement, mixed cement or special cement). Surplus soil can be improved by mixing 10-230kg (preferably 15-150 kg) of the improving agent to 1m3 of the surplus soil. Preferably, the component C is added to the surplus soil, the mixture is thoroughly mixed and a mixture of the components A and B is added and mixed to the above mixture.
