Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend a function of a surveying instrument.SOLUTION: An eyepiece unit 200 connected to an eyepiece portion of a surveying instrument 100 includes: a connection section 220 connected to an eyepiece section 108 of the surveying instrument 100; an image photographing section which photographs an image of a survey object captured by the surveying instrument 100 through the connection section 220; an internal orientation element calculation section which calculates an internal orientation element in a state where the surveying instrument and the eyepiece unit are bonded to each other using the photographed image of a target for calibration; a target detection section which detects a target for measurement from the images photographed by the image photographing section; and a target azimuth calculation section which calculates an azimuth of the target for measurement with respect to an optical axis direction of the surveying instrument 100 based on the image of the target for measurement in the photographed image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
