To singularize a vulcanizing die to reduce an assembly cost by forming an outer rubber elastic body and an inner rubber elastic body of different kinds of material corresponding to the respective damping characteristics, and vulcanization-molding the outer and inner rubber elastic bodies integrally and simultaneously at an outer fitting and an inner fitting.
This suspension upper mount 1 has the cylindrical inner fitting 3 fastened to the tip of a piston rod 2, and the outer fitting 5 disposed on the outer peripheral side and fitted to a vehicle body 4. The inner and outer fittings 3, 5 are connected to damp vibration inputted from the piston rod 2. The suspension upper mount 1 is further provided with an inner rubber elastic body 6 formed of a low dynamic spring type rubber material and connecting the inner and outer fittings 3, 5 to damp vibration inputted from the piston rod 2, and an outer rubber elastic body 8 formed of a high-damping low dynamic spring type material provided at the outer fitting 5 to damp vibration transmitted to the vehicle body side from a coil spring 7 for alleviating the travel vibration of a vehicle. The inner and outer rubber elastic bodies 6, 8 are provided at the inner and outer fittings 3, 5 by integral and simultaneous vulcanization molding.
