CONSTITUTION: Rotary supporter 5 is fixedly fitted to a rotary shaft 4 rotatably supported to a cylinder block 1 and a front housing 2. Here, a hinge mechanism K is constituted of a spherical bearing 7 mounted to a predetermined position of the rotary supporter 5 and a guide pin 10 guided by a guide hole 9a of the bearing 7. A swing swash plate 15 is stopped to a piston 19 by a sliding shoe 20. In this way, a tilt angle of the swing swash plate 15 is changed, and even when volume is changed, a supporting point Mk of compression reaction force of the bearing 7 and an application point Mf of compression reaction force of the sliding shoe 20 for supporting the piston 19 corresponding to a top position of the swing swash plate 15 are always positioned on almost an equal straight line L, thus to prevent bending moment by compression reaction force of the piston 19 from acting on the swing swash plate 15.
