Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a swirl body used for a large-scale swirl type burner, which comprises a bluff body and a swirler blade having appropriate size and shape which remove the problems relating to the mechanical stability and unintended mechanical vibration.
SOLUTION: A swirl flow type burner comprises a burner pipe which is provided with a central oxidizer supply pipe and an outer concentric fuel supply pipe. The oxidizer supply pipe is provided with a concentric and cylindrical guide body having a static swirler blade and a centrally positioned concentric and cylindrical bore. The swirler blade extends from the outer surface of the guide body to the inner surface of the oxidizer supply pipe and concentrically disposed in the space made between the guide body and the inner wall at the lower part of the oxidizer supply pipe.
