Abstract:

To provide a switched reluctance motor for driving an automobile, having less pulsation, even when it is rotated at a low speed of about 500 rpm.

An SR motor comprises a stator core 22 over which a conductive wire is wound, and a rotor 11 comprising winding cores 13, which are a plurality of salient poles that face the stator cores 22. Permanent magnets 14a, 14b, 14c and 14d are arranged at all intermediate positions of the winding cores 13, and the permanent magnets 14a, 14b, 14c, and 14d, arranged on both sides of the winding cores 13, have different magnetic poles from each other.
