A switchgear device 600 has a main unit Bp supporting an operating mechanism 8, and at least a first auxiliary unit Ba1. Each of these units has a rotation bar coupled to a mobile contact bridge guided in the case of rotation around a rotation axis Z. Two stationary contacts collaborate with the mobile contact bridge. The operating mechanism 8 controls at least one driving rod 30. The angular movement of the at least one driving rod 30 causes the angular movement of the mobile contact bridges between an opening position and a closing position. Compensation means comprises a stop 60. The stop 60 is pressed at the closing position. By this pressing, the driving rod 30 restricts the movement of the rod at a level of the first auxiliary unit Ba1, and applies a rotation torque to the rod to hold it parallel to the axis Z.
