To provide a switching device with high reliability of contact capable of inputting a plurality of signals corresponding to sliding movement and securing contact pressure of contact parts.

The switching device is composed of a base stand 1 on which individual fixed contacts 3a, 3b are arranged, a sliding member 4 housed in the base stand 1 in free sliding movement, an elastic member 6 pushing the sliding member 4 in one direction, and a movable contact member 5 electrically connected to a common fixed contact 2, having contact parts 5f, 5f sliding on the plurality of individual fixed contacts 3a, 3b accompanying with the movement of the sliding member 4. The movable contact member 5 is followably held by the sliding member 4, and one end side of the elastic member 6 is made to contact the movable contact member 5. The contact parts 5f, 5f of the movable contact member 5 are made to rotate in a direction contacting the plurality of individual fixed contacts 3a, 3b in sliding, and the contact parts 5f, 5f are made to contact the plurality of individual fixed contacts 3a, 3b with pressure.
