Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power supply device in which sufficient EMI noise counter measure can be taken, without increasing the switching loss.SOLUTION: A switching power supply device includes: a drive circuit 11 for operating a switching element Q1, based on a drive switching signal, by any one of normal drive with a high charging rate of gate voltage or soft drive with a low charging rate of gate voltage; and a load factor detection circuit 15 outputting a drive switching signal for instructing soft drive in a region where the load factor is equal to or lower than a load factor threshold during steady load, and outputting a drive switching signal for instructing normal drive in a region where the load factor exceeds a load factor threshold during steady load.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
