Abstract:

To provide a novel switching power supply capable of reducing a charging current of a snubber capacitor.

On an output side of a full-wave rectifier circuit RC, a snubber circuit including a snubber capacitor 18, a first diode Ds1, and a second diode Ds2 is connected, and a positive-side inductor 16 and an output-side capacitor 12 are connected. A negative-side inductor 20 is connected between anodes of diodes Db and Dd and one end of the output-side capacitor 12. The capacitance Cs of the snubber capacitor 18 and the inductance Lleak of an inductor 14 are set so that a discharging current of the snubber capacitor 18 can be passed at the time of completing the recovery of the diodes Da to Dd.
