To provide a rolling mechanism capable of extending the life of a fluid dynamic pressure bearing.
The radial direction of a shaft 101 is supported by a fluid dynamic pressure bearing 129. A fan blade 111 is joined with a rotor 115, and a motor 37 rotates the rotor. When the posture of the rolling mechanism is changed, an acceleration sensor measures the inclination angle of the shaft. A control unit controls the rotational speed of the motor to have a minimum rotational speed when the inclination angle is a predetermined value or lager. As a result, if the shaft inclines from the vertical direction during operation, fluid lubrication is maintained, so that the frequency of metallic contacts between the fluid bearing and the shaft is reduced.
