Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current mode control switching regulator circumventing the impact of ringing noise.SOLUTION: A switching regulator 1 converts a current IH flowing to a high-side transistor TH1 and a current IL flowing to a low-side transistor TL1 into voltages by respective on-resistances, and then amplifies these voltages by high-side amplification means 6 and a low-side transistor amplification means 7, respectively. The amplified high-side amplification voltage VHα and low-side amplification voltage VLβ are summed up by summation means 8, and smoothed by a lowpass filter 10, thus setting and adjusting the DC level of a slop signal Vsl. A slope signal Vsl and an error signal Verr are compared by a PWM comparator 5, and a reset signal Soff having a controlled pulse duty ratio is outputted to the comparator 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
