Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronization control device for a rotary press which is capable of performing the extremely accurate synchronous control of a drive means and stabilizing the rotation in a short time and further, reducing the broke caused by the phase deviation of printing paper.
SOLUTION: This rotary press has a plurality of printing mechanisms with such a function that a drive means M makes 'N' rotations ('N' is a natural number) when a plate cylinder PC makes a single rotation and a print image is printed on a web passing through each of the printing mechanisms sequentially in such a way that the image matches with the predetermined reference. In this rotary press, a control part 3 replaces under control the rotary phase of the plate cylinder PC for matching the print image with the predetermined reference, with the rotary phase of the drive means M corresponding to the former rotary phase, and sets a deviation between the rotary phase of the drive means M for matching the print image with the predetermined reference and the rotary phase of the drive means M under a normal condition as a correction value after converting the deviation into the number of outputs of a first pulsed signal. After that, the control part 3 deviates the rotary phase of each of the drive means M by an equivalent to the correction value and sets the deviated rotary phase as an imaginary feedback phase, so that the drive reference phase and the imaginary feedback phase of each of the drive means M are synchronized with each other under control.
