Title:
SYNCHRONOUS DETECTING CIRCUIT FOR MULTICARRIER MODULATION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3454220
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple multicarrier synchronous detecting device which can estimate a channel with high precision even when the influence of thermal noise and multipath fading is large and is small in circuit scale.
SOLUTION: This circuit is provided with a channel estimating means 208 which estimates a transfer function of radio wave propagation of each subcarrier, a dividing means 213 which equalizes the transfer function of a radio wave propagation channel, a feature quantity detecting means A which calculates feature quantities by subcarriers from estimated channel transfer functions of the respective subcarriers, and an adaptive filter means B which smooths the estimated channel transfer functions of the respective subcarriers among the subcarriers. According to the feature quantities by the subcarriers, characteristics of the adaptive filter means B are adaptively controlled. An example of the feature quantity is an amplitude quantity of each subcarrier, a phase rotation quantity between subcarriers, a difference vector between subcarriers, a modulation system of each subcarrier, or their combination.
