To provide a rotary machine having a structure using a low cost material that is easily available, realizing a stator yoke causing only a small amount of material waste, and achieving excellent heat radiation performance.
A rotary machine of the invention includes: housings 1a, 1b; an armature coil 5; a stator yoke 3 fixing the armature coil 5; and a rotor yoke 7 that is disposed through a gap so as to face the armature coil 5 and rotates with a shaft 10. The stator yoke 3 includes: a first stator yoke 3a that includes powder of an iron oxide (III) and powder of a binder resin and is molded by mixing these powder; and a second stator yoke 3b formed by a thin plate made of a ferromagnetic material. A mold resin filling part 2 is formed between the stator yoke 3 and the housings 1a, 1b to cause the stator yoke 3 to adhere to the housings 1a, 1b.
