Abstract:
PURPOSE: To secure speed variation effect by stabilizing torque variation, which occurs, when a series motor, etc., is driven in a lowvoltage state. CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary exciting power source P101 is connected through an auxiliary field winding F101, provided across a series field winding S101 of the series motor which consists of an armature circuit and the series field winding S101 connected in series with it or a compound motor having a parallel field winding F102 connected to the series motor in parallel with the same polarities and a diode CR101 for supplementing the exciting force of the series field winding S101 at the time of low-voltage operation, thereby increasing the torque of an armature A101.
