To provide a system frequency urgent correction method by a supply and demand control system which can return system frequency to reference frequency surely and urgently at large-scale dropout of a generator and the dropout of a load.
Generators are classified beforehand into several groups G1-G8 from the properties and features of generators including the siting points of generators and the difference of used fuel, and a generator within a selected generator group is decided as an object of output adjustment. The operation/stoppage of a pump in a pumped-storage power station and the motive power control are included in output distribution treatment. A processing means fit for urgent correction of system frequency are ranked, and a processable generator high in distribution order becomes preferentially an object of output adjustment. As regards two or more generators in the same distribution order, generators are selected unit by unit from different generator groups.
