Abstract:

To provide a method and a system that calculate optimal system-level schedules in a combined network of time sensitive networks (TSN) and 5G systems.SOLUTION: In a combined network of TSN and 5G networks, transmission of frames of a first data stream associated with a path including at least one link either a wireless 5G link or a TSN link between a TSN node and a 5G node is sequentially scheduled on the basis of a set of constraints on each link. The set of constraints includes at least one of wireless 5G network constraints, TSN network constraints, complex network topology, first data stream requirements, or scheduling constraints.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
