To measure an extension of a fastner by using a simple apparatus and a simple method which are introduced easily to a manufacturing process of the fastner, and by which it is required to slightly modify a fastner system.
In the fastner system (1), portable detectors (13) such as one or more reactance capacitors (15, 16) or a camera (34) or an image processor such as a laser are used. The fastener system (1) is attached to be detachable so as to be adjacent to the fastner, and it measures a change in a gap or a special shape of a bolt head or related washers (26, 27) caused by a relative movement of a part of the fastner system (1) without coming into contact with a detection part subjected to the considerable relative movement when the fastner is subjected to a strain.
