Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lengthen the life of a cutting edge having a complex pattern, capable of forming tabs and trims at a time.SOLUTION: A system for cutting a sheet member 1 includes a cutter roll 10, an anvil roll 20, and an auxiliary device 30. A cutting edge of the cutter roll 10 forms: tabs 2 to be left at a main body of the sheet member 1; and trims 3 located at positions adjacent to the tabs 2, to be cut off from the main body of the sheet member 1. The auxiliary device 30 has a tray portion 31 disposed downstream of the cutter roll 10 and the anvil roll 20 in a conveyance direction. The tray portion 31 has a tip portion 31a provided at a position where the tip portion comes in contact with an uncut portion 4 when the uncut portion 4 where the tab 2 and the trim 3 are partially connected without being cut off from each other, is generated. This allows the uncut portion 4 to be divided by the tip portion 31a of the tray portion 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
