This system for supporting repair of a product which is found to be defective by an inspection is provided with: a inspection result/repair history database 101 in which the product number, various inspection results and repair part of each product are stored; a defect inspection item retrieving part 102A for inputting defect inspection items when any defect inspection item is present as the various inspection results of the product, and for searching a inspection result/repair history database by using those defect inspection items as parameters; a repair part extracting part 102B for extracting the part repaired corresponding to the defect inspection items retrieved by the defect inspection item retrieving part and identical to the inputted defect inspection items of the product; a repair part estimating part 102C for selecting the repair parts extracted by the repair part extracting part in the order of the larger number of items, and for estimating it as the repair part to the inputted defect inspection items of the product; and a display part 103 for displaying the repair part estimated by the repair part estimating part.
