Abstract:
To remove a dry feeling and an unpleasant feeling of an ocular part of a person wearing a contact lens and to provide a good moist feeling and a good wearing feeling by stabilizing a lacrimal layer on the surface of an eyeball of the person wearing the contact lens.
The lacrimal layer present in the periphery of an ionic contact lens is stabilized by using an ophthalmia composition comprising a polyvinylpyrrolidone and thereby adsorbing the polyvinylpyrrolidone on the ionic contact lens. The lacrimal layer can stably held for a long period by adding a thickener to the ophthalmia composition.
