Abstract:
To provide a system in which a tank can be enlarged in size and which can reduce the possibility that a storage body is errorneously removed from the tank.SOLUTION: A system comprises: a lower enclosure 13 extending in a longitudinal direction and having a carrying path 24 on which paper 2 passes; a tank 103B that is positioned at the left side of the carrying path 24, and stores ink; tanks 103C, 103M and 103Y that are positioned at the right side of the carrying path 24, and store ink; an ink cartridge 30B that can be connected to the tank 103B and stores ink; and ink cartridges 30C, 30M and 30Y that can be connected to the tanks 103C, 103M and 103Y and store ink; and a recording head 21 that discharges ink supplied from the tanks 103B, 103C, 103M and 103Y. The ink cartridge 30B is connected to the tank 103B from above. The ink cartridges 30C, 30M and 30Y are connected to the tanks 103C, 103M and 103Y from above.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
