Abstract:
To provide a system for a vehicle, configured to allow a user of the vehicle or an administrator to recognize that information on e-mail, etc., transmitted, during software update using OTA, to an information terminal of the user or the administrator is reliable information.SOLUTION: A system includes a vehicle including an electronic control unit, a center configured to control software update for the electronic control unit, and an information terminal associated with the vehicle. The vehicle includes a display device, and a first communication unit which communicates with the center. The center includes a second communication unit which executes communication between the vehicle and the information terminal, and a processing unit which executes processing to transmit information related to the software update on the basis of the display device mounted on the vehicle. The center transmits, when information on the software update is transmitted, a notification that the information on the software update has been transmitted to the vehicle. The vehicle displays the notification received from the center on the display device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
