To provide a table set which is compactly constituted, of which the volumetric packing efficiency at the time of housing is high, therefore, which can increase the storage efficiency and the transport efficiency, and in addition, which can be easily assembled without using bolts, nuts and connecting fixtures or the like, and also, without forming threads, and has rigidity.

At the time of use, a table 10a is built up in such a manner that a box style deck part 17 having a top board 16 and side plates 36 to 39 is mounted on a leg part 15 for which first and second leg plates 11 and 12 and first and second connecting plates 13 and 14 are assembled. In this case, for the first and second leg plates 11 and 12 which are arranged to be confronted with each other, first and second cuts 24 and 25 are formed in the vertical direction at the upper side. For the first and second connecting plates 13 and 14, third and fourth cuts 26 and 27 which are respectively engaged with the first and second cuts 24 and 25 each other are formed in the vertical direction at the lower side. At the time of housing, the first and second leg plates 11 and 12, and the first and second connecting plates 13 and 14 are stacked on the top board 16 in the deck part 17.
