To provide a table which is suitable as an office table provided with a foldable auxiliary top plate e.g, and where safety and stability in the case of using the auxiliary top plate are secured, tables whose auxiliary top plates are folded are arranged neatly, the top surface of the table is effectively and safely used, and a projector, a wagon, etc. are safely housed by effectively utilizing a lower space of the table.

The auxiliary top plate 31 can be connected to at least one side of a main table 1 so as to be turned and folded in a vertical direction. The pivotally supporting part of a movable leg 27 is connected to at least one side of the main table 1 so as to be turned and folded in a horizontal direction. When folding the auxiliary top plate 31, the movable leg 27 is arranged folded to the side part of the main table 1. In the case of using the auxiliary top plate 31, the movable leg 27 is developed and arranged in a state where it can be engaged with the auxiliary top plate 31. On the lower face of the auxiliary top plate 31, a locking mechanism 33 is provided facing a turning area of the movable leg 27. The locking mechanism 33 and the movable leg 27 are provided in an attachable and detachable state.
