Abstract:

To provide a technology that can provide various types of experience through tactile sense.SOLUTION: A tactile sense providing device presenting vibration information that is information to be transmitted through vibration to the body, such as fingers or palms comprises: a first member that forms a first surface and a second member that forms a second surface different from the first surface; a communication unit that communicates with an information processing apparatus individually controlling vibration of the first member and vibration of the second member; and an oscillator that vibrates the first member according to the vibration information acquired through the communication between the information processing apparatus and the tactile sense providing device. The first member and the second member each have a predetermined characteristic frequency, and are supported by a support member having elasticity; the first member and the second member are attached to separate positions so that when the first member is vibrated by vibration of the oscillator, the vibration of the first member is not easily transmitted to the second member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
