Title:
TAKEOUT HAND FOR SMALL PARTS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2684589
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To pick up each of slender small parts placed at random and hold one end face of each small part so as to face to the specified direction for an face-end inspection.
CONSTITUTION: A guide part 6, an inspection part 7 and an attitude sensor 8 are installed in a storage means 4, inserting an iron core suction bar 11 of an electromagnet 9 thereinto, and it is made so as to be movable up and down through a rack 14, a pinion 15 and a grooved pulley 18. A gripper 20 has a pair of grip hands 31L and 31R opening or closing through an air cylinder, and a driving shaft of a rotary actuator 32 is connected to the grip hand 31R on one side, whereby it is engaged tight so as not do its relative rotation. Both these grip hands 31L and 31R are opened, projecting the suction bar 11, and when small parts are pulled up, they enter the inspection part 7, and thereby whether top and bottom are right or not is detected by the attitude sensor 8. Next, the suction bar 11 is lowered to some extent, making the small parts advance forward, and they are held by both these grip hands 31L and 31R, and in this case, those of being reversed in their top and bottom are reversed by the actuator 32, making each one end face front.
