PURPOSE: To prevent the stagnation of "miso" (fermented bean paste) in a vertical- type miso-fermentation tank, and to enable the rapid discharge of the whole content from the tank, by the use of a tank having a vertical discharging screw extending through the wall of a discharging adapter which is slantly attached to the lower part or the discharing part of the tank.

CONSTITUTION: A nozzle 7 is attached to an adapter 4 attached slantly to the discharging part 3 of a tank 1. A vertical screw 5 which seals the "miso" in the tank 1 with a seal-packing 8 and is rotatably supported by a bearing mechanism 11, is supported in the nozzle 7 with a supporting means 9. The fermented "miso" falls by its own weight by opening the valve 12 with a lever 13, and is discharged from a valve opening 14. By rotating the screw 5, the remaining "miso" is scraped down with screw blades 6, and discharged through the valve opening 14.
