Abstract:
To provide a tank supporting portion of a hot water storage type water heater wherein the supporting portion is made of a resin having heat conductivity lower than that of metal.
The tank 2 mounted inside of an outer housing 1 and storing the hot water/water is composed of a tank head portion 2-a, a tank side portion 2-b and a tank bottom portion 2-c, the tank bottom portion 2-c is provided with the supporting portion 3 for supporting the tank 2, and the material of the supporting portion 3 is polyphenylene sulfide (PPS).
