A hydrazine compound expressed by formula (I): L(-X-NHNH- Ar)n is used as a tanning developing agent. In formula, L is a n-valent organic residue, X is -NH-CO-, -CO-, -NH-SO2- or -O-CO-, Ar is an aromatic group or aromatic heterocyclic group, n is an integer ≥2, and n of-X-NHNH-Ar may be different from one another.
