Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the detection accuracy of a tape.SOLUTION: A tape supply device of the invention includes: a rotary placement base on which a record-like wound tape is placed; a guide shaft which is arranged along an axial direction of the record-like wound tape placed on the placement base and may rotate with the placement base; a guide ring which is disposed so as to enclose the guide shaft and forms an annular space with the guide shaft; a sensor which has a light emitting part and a light receiving part and detects a position of the tape pulled out from the record-like wound tape in the annular space; and a rotary mechanism which rotates the placement base and the guide shaft. The light emitting part and the light receiving part are disposed at the guide ring so that detection light is located at the outer side of the guide shaft.
