To provide a taping device with a simple constitution capable of certainly performing adjustment of a fluctuation amount such as elongation and slack of the tape.
The taping device has an opening 17 for inserting a coil conduction body 2 as a material to be taped and is provided with a rotation ring 1 rotatably supported on a frame 12 for winding the insulation tape 4 on the coil conduction body 2; a motor 7 for rotating the rotation ring 1; a tape reel 3 for feeding the insulation tape 4 from the frame 12 side; a brake belt 8 for pressing the insulation tape 4 fed from the tape reel 3 to a peripheral surface of the rotation ring 1 rotating around the coil conduction body 2; and a pay-out roller 6 for paying out the insulation tape 4 from the rotation ring 1 to the coil conduction body 2. A motor for driving the brake belt 8 is provided.
