To eliminate the remaining of a flowing article in a conduit after screw transferring operation, in a screw transferring device for transferring the flowing article (powdery, granular, muddy or the like) by a screw.
In the screw transferring device, a wiping/scraping member (10) having a wiping/scraping element (11) comprising an elastic material is mounted to a helical peripheral edge of a helical impeller (9) of the screw. The wiping/scraping element (11) is formed by a brush-like brush comprising a thin wire of metal or resin or a strip paper-like plate material of hard rubber. The wiping/scraping element (11) is elastically pressed to an inner surface (1s) of the conduit, closes a clearance between the helical impeller (9) and the inner surface (1s) of the conduit and is elastically slide-contacted with the inner surface of the conduit by rotation driving of the screw. In the screw transferring operation, since the wiping/scraping element (11) forwardly pushes the flowing article contacted with the inner surface of the conduit, leaving of the flowing article after the screw transferring operation is suppressed and prevented.
