Abstract:
PURPOSE:To securely control opening and closing time by providing a rotary valve provided in an intake and exhaust port on one shaft which is rotated by a rotary oil pressure device operated by pressurized oil from an oil distributer driven by a pulse motor. CONSTITUTION:A rotary valve 10 provided in an intake port or exhaust port consists of two rotary air intake valves 13, 13' for two intake ports for example. The respective valves are mounted on a shaft 34 to be rotated integrally therewith, drive a pulse motor 25 by the signal from a controller 24 and supply pressurized oil from a pump 28 to cylinders 23, 33 of a rotary swash plate mechanism 35 by controlling an oil distributer 26 to pivot the shaft 34. In an optimum time corresponding to the running condition of an engine, the pulse motor 25 drives the oil distributer to pivot the shaft 34 so that in an optimum opening and closing time can be quickly carried out the opening and closing operation.
